2009 Cryovac® Foodservice Forum - Serving Up Delicious Innovation

September 16 and September 17, 2009

Learning about smarter business practices is more important now than ever. And the Cryovac® 2009 Foodservice Forum was the best place to do just that. From September 16-17, we invited foodservice operators and processors to learn more about cutting edge foodservice trends and technologies.

The event was designed to generate, share and advance ideas about the foodservice industry from a culinary and technical aspect alike. Attendees could choose from multiple speakers and sessions including food safety emerging trends, product development and foodservice research findings from the National Pork Board.

Some of the prominent guest speakers included:

• Trends in Restaurant Operations by Mr. Ralph Bower, COO of Popeyes
• Menu Creation in Tough Economic Times by Chef Daryl Shular, Executive Chef at PFG-Milton and ACF culinary competition Team USA member

Cryovac® Automation & Integration Event

COLLABORATE - AUTOMATE - ELEVATE
September 2 and 3, 2009

Cryovac® automated systems are more than just equipment. They’re a smart business decision. The recent Automation & Integration Event held at Packforum Americas in Atlanta, GA offered processors the opportunity to see automated and integrated solutions to help them reach their business goals. They witnessed the latest in automation technology with live demonstrations of 10 automation lines showing the future of food packaging equipment.

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to browse Packforum® Americas’ retail supermarket cases that were fully merchandised with market-driven products. Participants also took part in workshops on topics such as Lean Six Sigma concepts, Process simulation software, PakFormance™ capabilities and Total Cost of Ownership.
